Grange is occasionally 100% shiraz (the 2011 Grange is the sixth 100% Shiraz in 60 years), but more often it contains around 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is the flagship of Penfolds' famous multi-vineyard, multi-regional hybrid concept, from Barossa, McLaren Vale, Coonawarra (occasionally) and the Magill Estate at the foot of the Adelaide Hills.

Pentilife Wines has always been known for its high quality across its extensive portfolio, with several other wines regularly appearing at auction, including Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon St.Henri and RWT Shiraz, Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz and Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, experimental or cyclical products such as Block 42 Cabernet Sauvignon and Bin 60a Cabernet-Shiraz were launched. The desire to launch a flagship white wine led to the debut of Yattarna Chardonnay in 1995. The extensive product portfolio includes many other numbered versions. Max's, Koonunga Hill and Cellar Reserve, as well as a range of tawny fortified wines.
